They recently installed a Velux FS M06 skylight and a Velux KIG 300 US Gateway with pre-installed solar room-darkening blinds, and the project turned out fantastic. The room with the new skylights is now the best room in the house. Highly recommended! I found Innovative Skylights from a google search and noticed they were a family run local business with a focus on quality and with happy employees and so I decided to go for it. They perfectly installed two small rectangular skylights in a dimly lit room in the back of the house. The house is 1-story with a low slope roof. The natural light from the skylights now fills the entire room with brightness and makes it feel very comfortable. Originally intended for a child's bedroom, the light was so nice that it became the home office instead. The sky and clouds are visible overhead throughout the day, which is really awesome. The natural light has also helped balance circadian rhythm despite staring at computer screens all day to much relief. Dan from Innovative Skylights came to do a preliminary visit for a quote. Shortly afterwards, his team came and installed everything over the course of a few hours. They were very respectful of the floors and furniture in the room while working, and did quality work with the install. Totally worth it!

The technician that came out to install the replacement motor called to come out early which was great for my wife’s schedule! He did the installation and even added a temperature control. Great job and great service!

We called many companies to come and look at our large multi panel skylight for resealing. Most saw the skylight and wouldn't even bid for the job. Wonderful experience! Dan, the owner, came to my house to take measurements and provide an estimate. He didn’t try to “oversell” me, and just provided recommendations on what he thinks our room needed. He provided the quote quickly and we got scheduled within a few weeks. The lady on the phone at the office was always professional and friendly. 2 skylights and 2 Sun Tunnels took about 3-4 days and the installers were all professional and friendly. The skylights completely transformed our dark living room. I am so happy with the results! We opted for Sun Tunnels in the kitchen which also help bring in natural light! A few days back we met with owner Dan Marshall. His presentation and knowledge convinced us that the Velux Sun Tunnel was right for us. Today, 4/25/25, two of his technicians came to our home to do the installation. What a great experience working with these two. Very professional in every way and yes, we are extremely pleased with our choice!

Dan was excellent start to finish. We wanted a combination of skylights and Sun Tunnels. Unfortunately our ceiling joists and where we wanted the skylights was near impossible so we decided on all Sun Tunnels. We have a brand new house and unfortunately after we moved in we realized that there was very little light coming into certain parts of our new home like the far side of the kitchen, laundry room, the hallway, and our flex room. You can judge the results for yourself in the photos. Dan and team were excellent an we would recommend them highly.

Agree with lots of the comments already posted. These folks really are awesome. They did our skylight replacement after we bought our home. Very unfortunately we had a hailstorm afterwards; and without thinking of the implications for the skylights, I assumed the people who replaced our roof would know how to keep the skylights sealed. Bad assumption. A year after the roof repair we had leakage around the skylights. I didn't bother with the roofing people; I just called Innovative Skylights. They came right out, assessed the problems; gave us a quote & did the work in a very professional manner. Highly recommend these guys; and strongly suggest that even after they're installed, if you've got the need for any roof repair, get Innovative back involved to ensure whatever the roofing guys do it doesn't mess up the sealing of your skylights. As 1 of their technicians said, "it's the only thing we do; and we know how to do it right". Perhaps the company does other things as they're called "... Skylights & Attics" but the 2 crews who handled our issues definitely knew what they were doing.

Are you kidding? This looks amazing. The solar powered blinds are awesome too. We’ve had a few storms roll through since installation and there isn’t a single issue with them. I love the Velux brand we purchased. Dan’s team is professional and this is what they do- skylights. I wouldn’t trust a general contractor to punch holes in my roof now that I’ve seen how smoothly they work and how knowledgeable they are. They did the job in a single morning. I will recommend their services to friends and family. As Dan told me, “light brings life” and this living room is completely upgraded now, and I am sure any buyer in the future will love it too. Don’t mind the 2 holes, ceiling fans were hanging there

These guys are great, they came out and field measure the skylite, gave me a quote within a couple hours. After approving the quote, they put me on the schedule immediately, within a couple weeks their crew came out and removed the original skylite and installed the new skylite within 3 hours. They covered interior furniture with plastic and threw a big drop cloth down to catch debri from the demo and install. Will highly recommend this company!

Awesome results! A fairly dark kitchen and gloomy living room were fully illuminated with the addition of sun tubes. The installation team was very professional and took care to protect furniture, counters, etc. The job was done quickly with complete cleanup afterwards. I had a cracked skylight and was expecting it to need a complete replacement. The estimator came out and determined the skylight was sound and only needed a lens replacement. Don't install skylights in the first place. If you do, know that there are very few contractors in this field who know what they are doing. Dan is one of them. On the side, Dan discovered and fixed a big issue with my door acting as a general handyman with a good heart.

Using Innovative Skylights to install skylight tubes in four areas of our dark has been an “illuminating” experience. We now have a bright formal great room, long hallway, butler’s pantry and master closet. From the thoughtful assessment and detailed bid to the in-time and careful installation, working with this company has been a joy. Thanks to them, our days are now filled with sunlight.

I bought and installed(myself) 3 "SunRise Solar Attic Vents". 2 in 2001 and another in 2005. Bought them from Dan. Dan's instructions were very clear & installation was easy and intuitive. I live in the California Western Sierra Nevada Mtns; we have sunny days just about every day of the year and no clouds at all between May and November. This amount of sunny days is very taxing on a fan/motor that runs non-stop when the Sun is out and is telling of the reliability of these fans. These three fans have been going strong for 21 and 17 years- completely maintenance free. Only today has the "younger" one's motor started making noises - I called Dan; the motor needs to be rebuilt or replaced- can't be lubed. This is great reliability- the motors are rated for about 15yrs. The older fans are still going strong- spinning quietly as fast as ever. From what I can see: replacement of the motor will be easy since the fan assembly is bolted together and are easily disassembled and replaced. I think it's great that these solar fans were designed with 'parts replacement' in mind; unlike the "throw-away" design that many products have become today.

Had three skylights be replaced with the new, flat glass. Significant difference in amount of heat and humidity in the house since. Very affordable price. Workers pulled up in their work van and were finished and left with no mess within a few hours. Would definitely recommend.

The Innovative Skylight team was easy to work and communicate with. They came out and did an evaluation and helped us walk through available options. When we selected what we wanted they scheduled the dates for the install. On the day of the installl they made the removal of the old sky lights and install of the new skylights same day, with no mess, and great quality. We have had them in for about a year now and its been one the best home projects we have had completed. Clear skylights, less heat coming in, and zero leaks since the install.

I had single pane old skylights that had cracked and become foggy. I debated on replacing them with new, and finally decided to inquire about what options were available. They came out and measured and discussed my options, I decided to go with new skylights and solar shades. I keep asking myself, why did I not do this sooner. The guys patiently had to wait until it quit raining on the day of installation, but they knocked it out and I am thrilled with the final product. They did an excellent job trimming out the interior part of the skylight and I LOVE the shade option. I think it is going make a huge difference in the temperature in the room, If you need to have those old dated skylights replaced, wait no longer and call Innovative Skylights and Attics. Our patio house needed more light as we only have windows on 3 sides of the house. The Innovative light artist team brighten the entire house with 5 Sun Tubes and 2 skylight. They did all this in less than a week! The two new sky lights over the kitchen cooking island is so well done it looks like it was designed and installed when the house was originally build. The surprise find is the saving on the electrical billing and the solar powered open / close remote control skylight acts a great cooking vent when opened. I would highly recommended hiring this company to bring you the joy of sun energy inside your home and to brighten your every day life!

Innovative Skylights came out and surveyed my roof and current skylights. Recommended 3 Skylights to be replaced and suggested the roof would also need to be replaced. Owner was very informative. When the crew came out to replace the Skylights, they were very professional and provided great service in a timely manner. I would 100% recommend and use them again.

Professionals from start to finish. They graciously moved things around and fit me into their schedule (I had an active leak from my existing skylight) for an urgent installation and within a few days I got my new skylight. Did the work in a morning and I was good to go!

The whole experience from first contact to conclusion of installation was professional. All my questions were answered, and the price was resonaable.

As a continued customer, I strongly recommend the quality professional services of Innovation Skylights for the reasons I outline below. In September 2016 I was faced with the need to replace an 8’ x 11’ skylight which was generating a chronic leak which had not been disclosed by the previous owners during the sale process. This was an unpleasant surprise which required immediate attention. As a result of a thorough research, I found Innovation Skylights. They came to site, examined the situation and proposed a solution which was accepted. There were several aspects which made the solution a winner, the main one being this: The replacement of the leak generated one unit metal framed sky light by a new curb mounted two dome acrylic skylight system, with UV value above 60%. The system was installed and has been performing successfully since then. Periodically maintenance inspections by Innovation Skylights have taken place thus assuring the continued quality performance of the system. Besides this system, in April 2021 Innovations Skylights have also removed five old smaller skylights and replaced and installed new 22 ½” x 22 ½” curb-mount skylights. From day one back in 2016 to now I have had only positive experiences with Innovation Skylights, from Dan Marshall and all his professional and courteous qualified team who has always responded to my requests through all these years. Since skylights by nature require appropriate maintenance, I count of the professional services of Innovation Skylights to make sure all the units continue to perform as intended. They were very professional and gave us what we needed to keep our windows safe from golfballs! BUT, we haven't heard from them since we asked them to replace one of our solar fans on our roof, that we bought from them and they installed for us. We still need it!

My living room was a bit too dark because of the extended patio. I contacted Innovative Skylights to add 3 small skylights into the ceiling of the living room. Great addition, it really wakes up the room. I opted for the solar powered curtain option which is nice to be able to control the amount of light entering the room. It's not the cheapest home improvement project, but it's well worth the money we paid for the job as lighting really makes the room inviting.

We have had Innovative Skylights install several skylights and replaced old ones that were leaking. The large ones are wonderful and I enjoy having the tube lights in dark areas like the laundry room or back hallway. Very happy with this experience and I would do it again.

I had two sun tubes installed in my living room, what a difference it makes. I plan on installing more throughout the house in the future. The company was professional and direct with the process and pricing which made it all easier. Will be using them again!

During our roof replacement in 2020, we also updated our HUGE kitchen skylight. It was a tinted bubble model that was not aging well. It was quite large, btw 48-54in sq. Innovative Skylights gave us a couple of options...custom skylight to keep the same size at $$$$ or off-the-shelf skylight - slightly smaller at $$. As much as we wanted the custom option, our budget was not there. We chose the off-the shelf at 48insq and it was installed at the same time our roof was going in. A new frame was built & installed and it is clear, but more energy efficient. Our kitchen is so bright, we only use the lights at night! I think we will go back to Innovative Skylights for anything skylight related in the future.

We love our solar tunnels that Innovative Skylight installed for our home today. Our kitchen looks so much bright and beautiful. It made a huge difference to our hallway too. We are very happy.
